Food Storage
and
Emergency Preparedness
Information
Booklet
by Debi
I wrote this comprehensive,
informative 15 page booklet to help families who are interested in storing
food and other supplies for any type of emergency, unemployment, natural
disaster (or perhaps the infamous Y2K mess). What I have done is compile
a very extensive list, sorted into clear categories, of almost every conceivable
item that may beuseful or needful. I have also included many uses that
you are sure not to have thought offor most of the items. For instance
I give many medical uses for spices and herbs that you probably already
have in your cupboards. The booklet is written, for the most part, in list
form so you can simply go down the list and decide what items you would
most like to add to your shopping list. I also give a few pointers on building
and maintaining a successful food starage in your home. This booklet is
easy to read, lighthearted, often amusing, and well worth your time if
this is a topic that interests you. It is not my aim to be all 'doom and
gloom', because on this subject I really don't feel that way. It's just
nice to be prepared for whatever may arise. It's certainly better to be
prepared and not need it, than to need it and not be prepared at all. Having
said that, my booklet takes the approach that anything is better than nothing,
and not that you must not overdo it or panic about about any preparations
you wish to make. I would kindly suggest that this is probably not a healthy
approach to this anyway. This can be a fun hobby if that's the way you
choose to do it.
I am offering this
booklet free of charge for the personal home use of individuals and families.
It is strictly my property, however, and no other use is permitted without
my prior permission. You are welcome to offer this on your website on the
condition that it is through a link to my main index
(home) page. Copies of this booklet may be distributed only if they
are complete and intact in their entirety, complete with my name. I appreciate
your cooperation in this, and sincerely hope that you get some use from
the booklet that I spent so much time researching and writing. I would
love to hear from you about it. Please feel free to write me.
